EPDM 2A1: at best price

For those looking for EPDM 2A1 without the high cost associated with automotive specifications, EM-41-ST and EM-41-UL are excellent options.

With a nominal Shore A hardness of 39(00), the EM-41 series is a general-use, closed-cell EPDM with a nominal density of 7.9 kg/m³ that meets the ASTM D1056-2A1 standard. This EPDM effectively seals windows, doors, and other openings to prevent air, moisture, and dust infiltrations thanks to its excellent weather resistance.

The EM-41 series is ideal for applications where rigorous automotive compliance is not required, including general gaskets, construction, electronic device enclosures, and HVAC systems.

The EM-41-UL variant is the fire-retardant version that meets the UL-94 HF-1 standard at a thickness of 1.5 mm and above. It has a slightly higher nominal density of 9.9 kg/m³ and a nominal Shore A hardness of 24(00).

Both products can be supplied in a usable width of 137 cm in sheet and roll presentations, with or without PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive).
